Animal Welfare

We have been pushing the boundaries of animal welfare since 1999 and are proud to boast a range of credentials. These include award-winning higher welfare systems in Italy and Spain, a UK-accredited pan-European welfare standard for pigs and the hosting of a unique, annual industry event that focuses on animal health and welfare.

About the brand

With the mission to bring great food discoveries to consumers at accessible prices, unearthed® was launched in 2008 and has since become a significant food brand with over 60 product lines.

Famed for launching exciting first-to-markets and showcasing regional specialities, unearthed® has a loyal following amongst food lovers. Communication on-pack and on social media is informal and direct. The brand also donates 1p from each pack sold to Action Against Hunger, raising over £590,000 since 2010.

In 2018 an unearthed®  pop-up opened in Richmond Waitrose with a curated range of specially selected products exclusive to the store/deli.
