We are delighted to announce that Deli Solutions has been presented with an International Safety Award from the British Safety Council, for protecting its employees from the risk of injury and ill health at work. It is one of 250 organisations to win a Merit in the 2020 International Safety Awards.
This recognition is a testament to the teams hard work over the past few months to make Deli a safer place to work.
The International Safety Awards recognise and celebrate organisations from around the world which have demonstrated, to the satisfaction of the scheme’s independent judges, their commitment to preventing workplace injuries and work-related ill health during the previous calendar year. The awards also recognise organisations that have shown commitment to well-being and mental health at work.
Mike Robinson, Chief Executive of the British Safety Council, congratulated Deli Solutions on their success. “The British Safety Council commends Deli Solutions on their achievement. The award is in recognition of their commitment and efforts to keep their employees and workplaces free of injury and ill health. The vision of the British Safety Council is that no-one should be injured or made ill through work – anywhere in the world. Realising it requires more than legislation; people committed to health and safety, and increasingly also to workplace well-being, make it a reality and inspire others to create workplaces that are a key force for good.” He added “Our warmest congratulations to Deli Solutions. All of those working at Deli Solutions should be rightly proud of their achievement.”
Deli Solution’s Site Services Health & Safety and Environmental Manager, Roy Patchell said “This recognition is a testament to the teams hard work over the past few months to make Deli a safer place to work.
