We supply the complete range of cooked, fermented and dry cured meats for a range of occasions from every day, to an indulgent treat, plus centre pieces such as whole legs of Jamon Ibe?rico and Serrano Ham.

Our ingredients range – including pancetta and cooking chorizo sausages – are ever popular with retail and foodservice, with a growing interest in niche ingredients such as Sobrasada De Mallorca and spicy Calabrian ‘Nduja.

Farm Assurance

Working directly with ring-fenced farmers across Europe who have been selected, approved and independently audited, we operate a bespoke farm assurance scheme to our Winterbotham Darby Pig Scheme standard.

Our standard covers all aspects of animal health and welfare including farm management, biosecurity, housing, herd and veterinary management, transport and abattoir. Developed in-house using our sector-specific expertise, we are really proud to be at the forefront in improving farm animal welfare across Europe.

Animal Welfare


We maintain a live continuous database for all information and audit data, across the entire supply chain. Individual SKUs are linked to farms, fields, slaughterhouses, cutting plants, manufacturing sites and packing sites. This also enables us to maintain audit reports, certificates and KPIs.

This third-party system is linked directly with BRC and SEDEX meaning we are provided with instant updates on status and certification, which makes the system even more transparent.

Higher Welfare

We have been pushing the boundaries of animal welfare since 1999 and are proud to boast a range of credentials. These include award-winning higher welfare systems in Italy and Spain, a UK-accredited pan-European welfare standard for pigs and the hosting of a unique, annual industry event that focuses on animal health and welfare.
