Winterbotham Darby sponsor the Food For Sale categoryWe love food photography, so Winterbotham Darby are proud, to once again support the prestigious Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year award.

Now is its 10th year, the international competition showcases the very best in food photography across 25 categories.  In that time a phenomenal 70,000 images and films have been submitted from over 77 countries.  No easy task for the judging panel to shortlist and judge!

The judges range from photographers and magazine editors, to creative directors and film directors, to food retailers and chefs. They all have all been involved in food  food and photography in their professional life for many years, with endless experience. So entrants really will get the opportunity for their photography to be viewed by the best in the business!

Food photography category to match our business

tWe sponsor the Food for Sale category – which showcases the very best shots of food for sale, be it a farmers market in France, spices in Senegal, macaroons in a chic Parisian emporium or coconut pancakes from a Thai floating market. Images of buying and selling food in shops and on the street anywhere in the world.

To enter the awards, you must register and then, depending on your age the entry fee ranges.  The categories encourage photographers from all ages from children up to seasoned professionals and experienced photographers to enter and there are even categories for shots taken on smartphones!

The 2020 winner of the category was Zay Yar Lin with his beautiful Vegetable Stall.

Instead of sending Christmas cards we've opted to donate to a fantastic cause @trusselltrust - working to stop UK hunger and poverty. Their network of foodbanks provide emergency food and support to people in crisis. Sadly there's never been such demand and so we want to do our bit to help.
